MEET OUR PHYSICIAN, DR. KRISTIN L. WULFF
Dr. Wulff has been working as a wound care physician in the Ormond Beach area since 2010. She has worked in many nursing homes doing bedside care on patients with wounds that are tough to heal due to chronic illness. She learned that through a healthier diet, exercise program and proper supplementation patients can increase their chance of healing their wounds and decrease their chance of getting chronic diseases, such as diabetes and heart disease. After many years as a wound physician, Dr. Wulff began to educate herself through the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, with whom she is now board certified. Vital Rejuvenation was opened shortly thereafter to focus on anti-aging/functional medicine.

Functional medicine is a unique approach to medicine where we aim to find the root cause of specific health-related issues to heal them from the inside out. It is important to understand that what works for one person might not work for another.
Today, medicine primarily focuses on sickness and diseases, but not enough on prevention and education.
We provide a patient-centered approach, our physician will conduct a detailed analysis of your medical history, lifestyle and current symptoms. Dr. Wulff will then develop a treatment plan that is specific to your unique health needs as well as your goals. This primarily focuses on important factors such as gut health, nutrition and lifestyle.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
A new functional patient can expect to spend about an hour or more face-to-face with Dr. Wulff. She will ask you many questions related to your health and wellness. You will also be given the opportunity to openly discuss any current concerns or issues you have. You are welcome to bring anything with you to your appointment that you would like to discuss as well, such as lab tests, medical records, etc.
You can expect to be sent for many labs as a functional patient, some of which your insurance may or may not cover. We can send your lab order to any nearby lab, or we can draw your labs in house.
DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?
We currently do not accept health insurance. We do have different finance options available with CareCredit and Cherry. We also accept HSA cards. Please ask us for more details.
